| This is the email I sent out before my fundraising project. "I am having a garage sale this Saturday. Everything is FREE if you give a donation to Stevens Johnson Syndrome Foundation. You can take as much as you want. If you write a check make it out to the foundation and it is tax deductable. I have Halloween, Christmas and many every day decorating items. I am de-cluttering my house and my life. Many of you know that I worked the past 10 years at My Secret Garden...and I bought like a crazy person. Emily and Beth have donated stuff too. I bought them so much holiday stuff that they just can't use it all. The SJS Foundation has been my "life line" since Valerie got it last year. AWARENESS is the only way to end this, and I want to give you each the knowledge to protect your families and friends. Please show up Saturday and be part of my support team. This sale will not be advertized in the paper. This is just for my family, friends and your friends. I may take pictures...so please wear your biggest smiles. Thank you all.
